My Art Kids
|
My Art Kids brought me a "vege' bouquet" of flowers. All the flowers were collaboratively made out of radishes, cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, black olives, carrot curls, and fluffy green onions. Designer cut green, red and orange bell pepper shapes woven in and around the edible cousins. The floral shish-kabobs, on long wooden skewers, were thrust into a half purple cabbage, lying on its cut flat side. The container they choose to hold my floral array was a hot pink heart basket, my Valentine. As I munch a floret, I think of how very lucky I am to have my "art kids" come weekly to make art. We visit, we paper mache, we draw, and exchange. I credit them for making my life a bit more colorful as we learn together. I've never received such delicious bouquet before, and I am touched.
